but i am still unconnected to the internet, no traffic coming in, where gone wrong?

If you are on starhub, you need to power off the modem and router. Power on your modem, wait a few seconds and power on your router

i did do a router reset before i try to set up this dlink router.

steps taken were same as this shown here (http://support.dlink.com/emulators/di524/h_wizard.html)

changed the password as well. choose dynamic ip address , host name : blank, SSID : changed, WEP enabled on 64bit, and then restart the settings page.

power down both router and modem. then on modem and then on router after about 15 seconds after modem turned on, but still no traffic, even if lan line was connected to one of the ports, wireless connected, no traffic as well
