Help with setting up DG 834 G Netgear Router

Hi,

I just bought the above, and couldn't get it to work.

After connecting everything, I went to http://192.168.0.1 (netgear modem login page) and it tells me to either keep default password or change, and subsequently choose my country + language.

Subsequently, it went into a progression bar, and tells me to choose some ADSL settings (i am using singnet ISP, and have no idea of hwo to do the chooosing, hence went by default)

Here is the problem : it tells me to insert static IP addresses, gateway, DNS gateways, IP address of which I understand Singnet does not issue (what it does is give clients a IP Add range, and no static IP)

Need help here ><

Under Basic Settings, choose "yes" for "Does your internet connection require a login".
Fill in the login ID and PW then click "apply" and reboot the router.

i have already set my internet connections to automatically get the IP addresses but somehow it doesn't fill up for the router

managed to get to the page that ask me for login and pw, but i still cant connect to singnet.
anyone can help me see where am i going wrong?

maybe you want to reset the thing and start all over again. Poke a little reset hole near the back of router to reset.
