new singtel fixed-in line still need no. retention upon relocation

now new singtel fixed-in line no longer uses telephone no. Starting with 645 for
any mo kio area, 625 for toa payoh, 674 for ubi area,etc.

with the new singtel fixed-line no. do one still need to apply for no. retention upon relocation to area serve
by different telephone exchange?
