Starhub or Singtel BBOM in boonkeng ?

Hi all,

Im currently using the Singtel BBOM 2mbps. I live near Boon Keng mrt area and im having constant packet loss every night ( and sat and sun afternoons). I tried it in my office in outram park and the packet loss is 0%. Im quite sure its singtel problem. I called the CS but as usual they cant help.


Is there any bro who is using starhub BBOM in Boon Keng ? Im thinking of switching to the green.

Also Im on a contract with them (12months), is it possible to terminate without penalty ?

its very obvious residential area everyone hog and hence poor service mah, u jump over oso will be similar de :)

hi im actually talking about packet loss here.
it happened everyday for the last 3 weeks but before that i did not have packet loss(low speed yes but packet loss is 0%).

packet loss can be due to base stn problem or 3 week ago some hoggers moved in/subscribed.

It make sense to pay for fixed bb where possible, since the sharing ratio is much lower, or at minimum, the backbone of local infra can be upgraded at will and easily.

Yes, at Boon Keng all 3 mobile broadband ISP networks are overloaded. My Internet radio radio always cuts off once I get out of the MRT station.
