thinking of grabbing the AKIRA on blu-ray. any thoughts on this? its SGD66.16 on play-asia.com. tempting :D

It's a classic, but imho not really that striking on bluray.

You wouldn't really lose much if you had just viewed the DVD version.

ok. probably only more recent animated film are worth the buy. i already got 2 animated film on BD and it really brings out the 1080p quality.

think i will just give it a miss.
