I have had my new 8mbps plan in activation for the last 2 weeks. have been trying out the torrent download speed over this time and have not hit any amazing speeds. In fact for the last few weekdays night the speed was about 50kB/s then suddenly on Saturday night was able to hit speeds of average 400 kb/s and even up till 900 Kb/s. Tried download a number of things for fun and everything seemed to come down very fast, 350 MB could come down in 30 mins while on other occassions it take hours even though there are many seeders . I always thought sat nights with heavy net traffic, download would be slower but yesterday was different.
Was this just a unusual sat. night? Any comments or inputs?
