i am using a Crap WRT54G2....Linksys...
and i also got my old Linksys BEFSR41W ...can i use that as switch...if that possible can i use the esisting lan cables?

Can, just ensure the 2 router IP addresses don't conflict and disable the 2nd router's dhcp.

Yup, off DHCP on router intended to act as switch

Disable the DHCP server
(web interface setup, like 192.168.1.1 login etc... different router different config)
From what I know a router is a mixture of 3 devices.
-Access point
-Router
-Switch
So It can work as a switch :)

From MaxOL to Router then to another router...
Can use same cable that connect to pc?

u mean router to switch(router but dhcp disabled)?
both straight and cross utp cable are okay.
