using starhub mobile broadband oversea

Hi, just got this starhub mobile modem where you can connect to internet anywhere in Sg as long as there is handphone signal for free. Question is can I use this starhub modem oversea like in Malaysia, Thailand etc? Roughly what is the charges like? Thx :)

I do not think it will work. The data SIM card maybe bound for Singapore use only.
I could be wrong.

thought there will be expert here but anyway call 1633. The info is that need to activate the roaming. There are two type of roaming; normal roaming which you need to pay monthly fee and a one time activation fee; the other one is pay as you roam where the fee is 20% on top of the data charge which is 2c per kb data for Malaysia and Thailand.

Dunno whether it is worthwhile using the hotel internet access. have to check out.
