contracted snbb 8mbps today and..

Then proceeded to call singtel for mio voice application, works out to $10.70 per month when bundled with snbb. http://home.singtel.com/mio/mio_voice_plans_snbb.html At this point i was expecting to pay only $32.90 + @10.70 per mth. However the CSO said i was not eligible to bundle mio voice with my current broadband plan because i did not have the wireless modem that comes with the other 8mbps plan($36.90per mth). According to the mio voice web link, if u apply for mio voice and have a snbb plan, a mio box is supplied FOC, so why would i need the wireless modem? mio box is modem+voice capabilities right? So now they want me to apply for a $36.90 plan which comes with mio tv, there's a catch though
Mio TV:
(1) Applicable for mio TV service addresses within mio TV coverage. Minimum content spend of $16.05 per month per service account per bill applies
So it's $36.90 + $16.05 + $10.70=$63.65
I I do not need mio tv, that's why i went for the simple bundle mentioned at the start. Anyone has experience with this? On a $32.90 plan and still able to apply for mio voice without going for the $36.90 one? Don't trust CSOs for that matter :mad:

i believe you will require the mio box to use mio voice. $36.90 comes with the mio box, however, im not sure whether if you can take mio voice without mio tv.

U definitely can take mio voice without mio tv, i just don't understand why i should upgrade to a plan that requires u to pay more for a wireless modem that won't be used when there's a mio box present. http://home.singtel.com/mio/mio_voice_setup.html shows clearly that u do not need a wireless modem whatsoever once u hv a mio box going.

From I understand, you should be able to sign up MIO voice separately . Dun bundle the broadband and the mio voice together lor.Why not?

Ask the CSO why can't applied for MIO voice standalone.
