I have a Motorola SB6100 cable modem from my previous Starhub contract. I recently renewed my contract and received the Motorola SBV5121 voice enabled modem.

The problem is i want to continue using my SB6100 cable modem (100mbps) and at the same time use the digital voice function.

Any ideas how i can set up a home network which can enable me to use SB6100 and digital voice together?

just install a spilter at the cable point, and use both modem at the same time. Oe for voice one for net :D

I'm already using a splitter. One for my Cable TV and i'm left with only 1 for my Internet. That makes using both modems at the same time not possible.

How about a 3 way splitter?

You can most certainly use more than 1 modem at each point, the question is if the signal is strong enough for all 3 devices. At most a signal booster can be installed at that point.

If i were to u use a 3 way splitter, what kind would u recommend? My current 2 way splitter is 3.5dB, 5-1000MHz.

note that if you use a 3 way splitter, note that it may affect the quality of your signal, hence affecting your internet signal too.
