For those interested there is an modded Atheros Driver available from Laptopvideo2go
Works for all Atheros Wireless Cards
Laptopvideo2go claim a performance increase
You also unlock a myriad of Advance Setting as shown below

The ralink have quite a number of option in its default driver also.
Anyway, most of it wont need to set one.

heheh not forgetting that ralink got option to turn the adapter into AP mode =p

Not only Atheros, even the entry level Dlink USB DWA-110 wireless adapter come with more than enough options for daily usage.

No actually the default atheros only have a few miserable options
This modded inf driver unlock them for modification
