for online games, i believe many others have the same experience?

everyday, you spend the whole morning/afternoon outside for work/school then you come back home to play some online games

then you find out the connection sucks, it's super laggy and the latency ish ghey too :s22:

only during morning/afternoon are the connections better, but unless u can play solo or ur gaming mates r not working/schooling like u can you have some online fun?

my fren on the red line has no issues like me during the night in the same game

wad can i do? lan lan suck thumb? :s27: :s16:

Confirm le, they are throttling bandwidth for all other purposes other than normal surfing

I mean who needs a 10 or 100 line to surf forums!!?

So anyone stuck with a high subscription is now actually subsidising those low subscription plans winners
anyway my contract ends only next year

so it's a "suck thumb" and "song bo" for me :s22:

migrating to red line seems rather troublesome cuz i have been on this line since SCV days

singnet still need phone line and my room doesnt have have one, so need to install.

already routed a long cable from the router in my room to my sis' room thru the living room.

how is pac net? stable? and wad do i need to install/change if i wanna move to pac net?

Pacnet get their lines from Singnet, so basically, getting a contract with Pacnet is equivalent to getting from Singtel. Thus might as well go for Red.

I'm not sure about the competitiveness of the pricing for Pacnet, but it should be more or less around the same.

My lecturer who was using Pacnet had to made several complaints to them regarding the speed also. Thus it happens, not just to the Green, but to the Red and Blue.

Only phone and hfc go thru singtel and starhub. At network operation side, go thru pacnet's own network. That is ANC. The speed slow because of new management instead.

Not true, MOL Ultimate subscribers are not getting any lag problem, at least none that i know of. In fact, i am very happy with my speed.

I know of least 2 whose so claim high end lines are acting like 1 or even 0.5mpbs lines comes peak, sometime even nonpeak times!

If thats the case it'll prolly be better for them to check their modem/router already. Even during peak time with SB6100 + DIR-655 i managed to get download speed of high 6MB/s low 4MB/s. Offpeak time i had encounter up to 10MB/s high before.

must apply secret formula and software.
there are some exceptions though. Of course, it is ONLY applicable for MOL Ultimate.

Actually this's true in the sense that if both high and low end user going to a site that are throttling the bandwidth, they may get the same speed.
