I'm a student, so I don't have much cash and like, I need a router for my Acer aspire one. I currently use a starhub connection with a motorola modem.

My budget is around a 100 dollars tops.

i dun think a student with no cash would have a budget of $100. even $50 is hard


anyway, g router cost some $40+ only

Student with not much cash. Like what brand is good? I'm sorta blur about routers and stuff.

100 bucks is enough for G routers. Get the Belkin wireless G models ($SGD48).Why Belkin? Because lifetime warranty. Connection wise, use the blue color network cable included in the package, connect from the "internet" port on the router to your motorola network port. That'll do. For wireless encryption wise, use the included cd-rom for configuration.

If you are really low on cash, you can try the IT garage sales or hwz marketplace for good 2nd hand routers. Brands to look out for are mainly dlink, linksys, belkin...

I know DIR-300 is a good product (cheap and good) :D

Buy Belkin N router at $69 IT show. Best price in IT show.
Lifetime warranty . Peace of mind.
