Hi all!
Recontracted my snbb last year december and singnet gave me the 2wire 2701hgv-e wireless router or the "mio box". Was busy during that time so didn't want the install it yet (scared later mess up).
Now i want to try out the modem then i discovered that the modem was in a wierd state. Let the picture tell u guys what i meant...

Well, I think the manufacturers flipped the circuit board the other way. 4 ethernet ports now left like 2 only! :( What you guys think?
Here's the correct modem from the other post, posted by liangtam:

haha. thanks all for your help! i kinda got it right.. but just did one stupid thing before i know what's actually going on..
the stupid thing: i opened up the modem (but there's no those warranty void label, so maybe still not void yet?)
what i found out: the modem circuit board was okay-o. correctly assembled, like motherboard on pc, can never put wrong side one.. so the thing is they pasted the label for the connections wrongly. so i just use some screwdriver to pull out the sticker labels and repasted them again. and it FITS!
so one last thing, the box dun come with driver cd (or they miss out again!?). does it need driver?
or just connect phone line and ethernet, power on den sync sui sui liao?

I got mine recently too.
it also didn't come with the CD, no warranty card... and also no box. is that normal? should i call singnet to ask for the warranty card?

Warranty should be 2 years after installation date. Recently sent mine for faulty power supply, 1 more month before warranty ends. But actually, they didn't even check if it's still under warranty. Or probably they already know from the serial no, but didn't see them checking the serial no. Or....it's too common fault that they close one eye.
