Hi,
I just got my dlink NAS-323 and DIR-855 router.
I have set up the uPnP AV server and BT setting.
But i have problem with the ftp server. I have followed the manual in the cd given.
set my nas-323 ip to a fix one and did port forwarding on my router under virtual server or the tap ontop of the port forwarding as from the manual. Using the default Port :21
But i cant get the ftp to work. I use IE and firefox to try to access. But cant. IE and firefox support ftp rite?
And how to get the ftp address to access ah?
Anyone can help?
THanks.

Have you defined under ftp server which user can access which directory?
For access from outside your LAN, use the public IP or make use of DDNS services

Does it work with normal FTP client? In some situation there is a need to port-forward port#20 (FTP-data) as well.

You can try enabling passive ftp in your firefox/IE. For IE is Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced. Check passive FTP

I can ftp to my DNS-323 with IE or Windows Explorer without problem.
Are you accessing from within your LAN? If yes, ensure router loop back in enable.
