Hi all,

Need some advice here.

Planning to sign up for the SNBB 3Mbps plan @S$22.90 pm (24 mths contract). Link here:
http://www.singnet.com.sg/plans_and_services/broadband/snbb.asp?snbb=3Matl

As I understand it, an ADSL ethernet modem will be provided.

The problem I am facing is that my phone line is located far away from my TV console which would hold my Xbox360, NAS, HDX 900 NMT and upcoming Sonos player. My PC is located in another room and would access the net via wireless. I would like to use wired connections around the devices at the TV console for smooth and fast access thus my wireless router needs to be located here.

Can I use homeplugs to establish the link between the modem and the wireless router? The connection would be:

ADSL line -> ADSL ethernet modem -> Homeplug 1 -> Homeplug 2 -> Wireless router WAN port

The four ports in the wireless router will be connected to the said 4 devices above.

Is this logical and feasible?

Appreciate any assistance in this, thanks!

Hey guys,

Thanks for the verification!

Wanted to sign up for the broadband earlier at Singnet Taka branch but their opening time is really very late and I had pressing matters. Will do so over this weekend.

Cheers!
