need help from pros for my network adapter

my connection getting d/c and connecting every 3 min so i call up my service provider and test
and after awhile they ask me to try dlink instead to test it maybe its my router.after one big round, they say it might be the network adapter.so ask me to reinstall it.but when i reinstall it.i could not find any LAN connection at all.my whole computer cannot detect the network adapter at all now.

Is that a USB wireless adapter? Install the driver first before plugging in the device.

its not.its my desktop LAN adapter.i cant seem to find the adapter in device manager other than the 1394 adaptor.

go to system, delete the network adapter, scan for hardware changes and follow instructions to install the driver. Click on my network place, properties, click notify me...., show icon.....

after you tired this, if cannot show the network icon, you can change the slot or the LAN card is defective.
