Need some help with regards to Singnet 8Mbps setting up, i have a 2WIRE wireless modem, how should i install the filter and etc ?

call singtel, hear from the real expert, if got problem can blame them too and summon technician down. steady pom pipi.

I used this filter, connect it to the wall phone socket, then connect to the "Phone line" at the back of the 2wire modem.

Then connect the lan cable from pc to the "Local Ethernet Port" at the back of the modem. Dun power up the system first, put in the cd n run the program, then jus follow the steps shown in the cd. :)

no mio voice?

then just connect the modem pHOne jack to the phone jack outlet directly. start up modem. then navigate to http://home/ to setup

for your current home phones, put the microfilter in between

Thank you very much for all your replies, if Singnet say 25th March then activiate means 25th ? or earlier also can ?

Anyway 2WIRE modem, can still share network printer etc ma ?

Is it like a Router + Modem altogether ?

If i get repeater, will it be compitable with the 2WIRE ?

If i wanna change my 2WIRE to Linksys N Router/Modem, do i need to inform Singnet ?

Most repeater can work with 2wire.

You can change your equipment at anytime of your choosing without having to inform Singnet. However you cannot ask them for any help with regards to your linksys modem. They'll just tell you to use back your 2wire.
