Hi guys

Using MOL 8mpbs
i have a Dlink DGL4100 and DIR300
DIR300 has been flashed to v1.04 firmware

How do i connect the DIR300 to my main router DGL4100 for wireless usage only?
I using my 4100 for my own PC.
DIR300 i buy is because of the wireless which is needed for my dad notebook.

How do i go about setting it up?

DIR-300 thread?
hook lan lan is from one of the LAN ports from my DGL4100 into DIR300 lan port right?

You have to enable "access point" in DIR-300. Your understanding of the lan ports connections are correct.

If you preferred to use the DGL-4100 as router and the DIR-300 as wireless AP, then connect the DIR-300 to any system using wire to disable the DHCP, after that connect it to the DGL-4100 using any one of the LAN port to any one of the LAN port on the DGL-4100, the modem stay connected to the WAN port of the DGL-4100.

Because both routers are using the same gateway (192.168.0.1), you might run into problem accessing the DIR-300 if both router are conencted to the same system, i suggest you use one of the system to wired connect the DIR-300 only for the time being to disable the DHCP and enable the AP mode, as the DGL-4100 is still the router handling the NAT/routing and provide connection to the modem/internet, the DIR-300 is use as an AP to provide wireless capability to the DGL-4100.
