I intend to bring my wife to be to Thailand for a mini honeymoon in June.

chaingmai is better...sightseeing wise, the culture, the cooler climate as well as the much nicer hotels..!!

bangkok + pattaya will be good for you.

chiangmai not much shopping can be done since there is only very few shopping mall. Places to visit in chiangmai is the laos border, golden triangle, 5 tribes, some handicraft factories etc. Might bored your wife! =:p

krabi better... book a honeymoon suite in Amari hotel... rot in the in-room jaccuzi... enjoy sunset italian food...

chiangmai in june is hot! also it's low season.

if u can go BKK and Phuket, that would be nice. There are some nice boutique and affordable resorts.

Pattaya is like a large scale version of Patpong. That's just my impression of seeing it once in my life. :)

go for F&E is more fun then guided tour. BKK dun need guided tour, u just need a map and some prior research in this forum where to go and you are on your own! Own time own target, no more 4-5pm @ MBK, 5-6pm @ Siam sq so rigid!
