Hi peeps.

Just wondering if anyone have tried this. :) I've been trying to use the Huawei E960 with my colleague's Singnet SIM card and can't seemed to be able to get it working. Changed the APN to Singnet's "Internet" and dial number to *99#. PPP Authentication is at CHAP+PAP.

Is there any other settings that I have to set?

Thanks! :D

Maybe the modem is locked to M1's SIM card?

Ah damn. Previously I was trying to do internet sharing via a desktop computer to a wireless router but failed too. Read about some peeps that were trying to do the same thing but didn't get any solutions so far.

Are there alternatives than using another USB modem? :s11:

The M1 usb modem is definately locked to M1 sim's card. Dunno if the Huawei E960 can be unlocked like the E220.Coz i did unlocked my E220 to use with other telco's.. Try google on it. I'm sure there will be answers..
