can any pro here tell me what are the slots used for?

Add 1 more picture to explain myself better. I thought it is for hdd as well but i can't possibly connect sata or ide cable behind it after installing my hdd. Anyone with the same case (ASUS TA-M Vento) able to do so?

wow

thanks man

There is printing error on the manual. I used a tissue to test for airflow and u are right. Have turn the cooler around.

ALthought i am able to install my hdd into that slot, but i cant connect my sata / ide cable behind it as it will block my case cover.

hmm

have been trying to install my hdd from the back/front/left/right but i cant connect my cable to the back of hdd. The rear case of my tower cannot be close if cable is connected. I am thinking if this is a tower design fault.

Any pro having the same case as me having this problem?

maybe u can tell us what case is that first? Those slots are definitely for HDD.

my case is from ASUS , model = TA-M vento

fuwell recommend this case instead of coolermaster centrium 5 . Because this case has 2 12mm fan.

The back of the hdd(with the connectors) should face the front panel.

Around the same... except CM 5 front intake fan is 80mm which i hated. too little airflow in.

hmm if you use something pretty focus.. you will not feel there are too little flow.
CM5 intake has some blockage due to the fact for the power on and reset switch location, but still it does decent job in cooling if you got the right fan and amount of air pressure in.

as for the case above.. it's pretty well build, the only flaws it has is the connection of the HDD, you might need to use L shape sata cables to connect your HDD.
