Sounds like a GPU driver issue to me; or possibly GPU temperature issues. Can you run HWmonitor to check the GPU temps while playing an FPS game? And what drivers are you using?
And also, did you took notice of what the BSOD message displays?

Take note of the part where it says 0x00000...
Copy that down. It may help.

i used to have a similar problem where my com would automatically restart, or in very few cases show the BSOD, when playing slightly graphic games like Gunz.. yea, i got a lousy com then.. haha
anyway, it happened to be the graphics driver.. i had to install the driver from the cd for the graphics card.. and also the temperature was quite high at the time.. so i had to manually attach an extra cooling fan to my graphics card, since it was a silent card..
yours might be the same problem, but perhaps the computer has a different way of telling you that..

if im not mistaken, you can calibrate your comp such that it will either auto restart or show a bsod when an error occurs.

I used the latest driver from HP support site.
Tried to install the latest intel GMA driver, however it said that it's not compatible.
Haven't played game since then, when I encounter the BSOD i will note down the details.
Btw, I installed the HWmonitor,
The reading as follow:
+- Analog Device
+- Local: 41 C
+- Remote 1: 51 C
+-ACPI
+- TZ3_: 41 C
+- TZ4_: 29 C
+- TZ5_: 50 C
+- TZ0_: 61 C
+- TZ1_: 51 C
+ Intel Mobile Core 2 Duo T7250
+- Core #0: 53 C
+- Core #1: 53 C
+-ST98011AS:
+- HDD: 40 C
is it normal? the temp is taken during idle.

played dota just now...
The CPU hit 69 C max, then drop and stable at 61 C.
No BSOD occured...
Need to try the more taxing game....

ran the GPUz, under sensor, nothing displayed, I think it is due to onboard GPU?
