Hi there,
I have Singnet BB on House A & House B but my MioTV is only at House A.
What configuration should I make on the STB or modem for MioTV to work at House B?
Is the MioTV subscription tied to a particular address(phoneline) ?
As the MioTV is "Free" I don't think it's worth paying more $$$ to Singtel for a simple
change of address. Thanks.

my guess - the provisioning of the miotv stb is via the mac address. in such case, it's likely you can bring your stb to the other house provided the 2wire is already setup to support snbb and miotv.
just give it a try and report here ok?

This will depend whether you are seeking a contractual possible or technically possible answer.;)

for starhub cable yes you can
until they find out and block/blacklist your modem :)

The 2 2WIRE modems will still have different MAC addresses.

you can see from the terms and condition, self-relocation is free. just inform them.

i am referring to the miotv stb mac address, not the 2wire.

I had tried the stb in the other house & it doesn't work.
Btw what settings should I do on my 2Wire to setup for miotv?
Anyway after wasting precious time repeating to a few CSO about our problem, they finally realised
that our request is possible & they will do the relocation service for free but it will take 4 days to take effect. My mum didn't get any special instructions from the CSO on how to setup the 2wire/miotv so I'm
hoping that it's gonna be a simple plug & play in 4 days time..:s27:
