wanna ask something, let say i had a switch with 4 laptop and tat switch i connect it to another switch which is less than 1m apart, and add in another laptop on the 2nd switch, will it affect the speed alot?

it shouldn't affect much if you are adding the last laptop for web-surfing, local file-sharing etc. But note, iinternet bandwidth are shared between all the computers.
