Hi, im am wondering if any one has done a CCTV installation in their house using their computers as the recording device. anyone care to share?

Did a project ousing usb webcam. Works prefectly but night vision, wiring are 2 problems i faced.

Think nowadays got wireless IP webcam and can even view the stream remotely.

i recently bought an IP camera, a taiwan brand ip cam pan/tilt wireless but finding it a huge problem to get it to connect on my wireless mio router. anyone can help?
