currently using the thomson router provided by singtel, then connect to linksys wireless router, then from linksys to my desktop...
but the linksys router got problem recently..
so thinking to buy new router...
any recommendation , cheap router and easy to setup ...still remember last time doing lots of thing to setup that linksys router with the thomson stuff...

There isn't any major settings to be done for the router.

2 things you need to do. Bridge the modem to the router.

Second thing to do is input your singnet user id and password into the router.

Voila you're done.

You've probably done a lot of unnecessary configuration with your previous modem.

tried to install the linksys router .... got stuck at a stage where it keep on asking for a password ... wtf ?

confirm 2701HGV-E can run as wireless router?
why i saw people talking
2WIRE 2701HGV-E (bridge mode) ---> Linksys Wireless-N Router WRT610N

still need linksys wireless router?

i got my desktop using ethernet cable and one notebook using wireless....

The 2WIRE has WiFi but if you are heavy on wireless I wouldn't recommend it, its wireless is sub-par as compared to Linksys.
