:o to ask, how come when i start up com, the lan connection icon will not display in the bottom right corner? i used to use wireless but when switch to wired yesterday, today when switch on com u to go show all connection then enable to use internet, i never disable it when shutting off. the display when connected option i got on

go control panel-->network connection--> local area connection X--> tick "show icon when connected"
