1) select the computer u wanna port forward in part 1
2) select "allow all applications (dmzplus mode) so its not a pain when u need to port forward with more applications.
3) u need to launch the program first and let it connect, then use http://canyouseeme.org and test the port.

It's a common problem... just do the correct settings and wait. Sometimes it takes 2 days. Sometimes 5 mins. But eventually the port will be opened =.=||

I have totally no idea why.

1: The computer hosting the application (got any firewall?)

2: Have u try restarting the modem/router?

Don't ask people to try DMZplus mode unless you are sure people cannot exploit his network.

Using DMZplus mode means all firewall options on the router will be turned off for the set computer. It can mean anything, including a security vulnerability.

And it's just a stupid thing to do just because you want convenience. Convenience comes at a price.

I would say check if there's any firewall installed on your computer. All 2WIRE does is when the other party try to access the port it will forward to your computer.

If something on your computer reject that traffic it results in a failed connection.

You can try changing the port which WoW uses and then use "Add a new user-defined application" in 2WIRE's settings to add the port you have selected.

I have to set proxy as proxy.singnet.com.sg port 8080 or proxy2.singnet.com.sg port 8080 in order to open some website. However, with this proxy setting it will cause the port forwarding problem in some programs.

It has a very limited range
I know one thing: Have the decency to create your own thread instead of using others.

And before you do that, search.

That's not the point here unless he set the proxy in his WoW settings.

If you set the proxy settings inside your browser it won't affect other programs.

I am not able to login Yahoo Messenger if I use proxy in IE.

I disabled all firewalls and tied adding new defined application but still it won't work. I used to be able to host games but now I can't. frustrating.

Your last resort is to reset the modem to factory defaults, set up everything again and start from scratch.

Not the best solution, but you resort to anything if all solutions don't work.
