Singtel 2Wire for Streamyx?

Can i use the 2Wire 2701HGV-E Wireless Modem Router ADSL mio Singtel for Streamyx broadband (M'sia broadband provider)?

I try to connect to streamyx in my hometown but failed.

the adsl setting is on snbb. you need to change the adsl setting for your malaysia isp. think is called vci/vpi settong. can't remember the name for that. singapore is 0/100

technically its the same (adsl), but you gotta change some stuff like the username n password..

vci = 0 , vpi=100 (pls correct me if wrong too long nv login modem to play with this setting).


Steamyx is on vci = 0 , vpi=35 (so this need to be change)


On the modem the DSL led is blinking or solid?


I think the modem shouldn't be lock. But the modem is customized for Singtel.

DSL/Broadband LED is solid with green color. Thanks a lot, will try to DIY tomolo.

Arrhh..I plan to change the vci/vpi but i can not reach the setting page (192.168.0.1/192.168.1.1) even after I plug in the power adapter cable, telephone cable and ethernet cable to mio box.
