Anyone tried this before and it works?

Called Dlink up and they said technically It should be able to work.

Setup-

3G router > IP cam (wirelessly)

Lets say setup everything done, I am talking about DCS 2121, so recording will just be in the SD card slot provided in the camera.

Want to view the image over the internet, just wonder if the 3G internet is good enough? any restrictions?

Anyone have this setup? Because business internet plan is just too costly.

It will work, I have one such installation in office, only thing is that your speed will
be slow due to the upload link.

Depends on your needs and requirement, most IP camera supports DYDNS now,
so there's no need to get fixed IP at all.

Need such setup needs, do PM me, my company specialised in providing such
setups for our home users.

Cheers
