I currently on Starhub MOL Premium. I got a linksys router connect to the modem so that I can have many PCs accessing the Internet a the same time.
Recently all my PCs suddenly cannot access the Internet. I carry out some troubleshoot and found out that after resetting my router configs, the Internet will be back. Today morning same thing happen and have to reset my router again.
The thing is I/my family never change any major router settings the day before and the router shows no sign of being hacked. We have change the router access password and its default ip address.
So is the router aging that cause this problem?
Thanks.

Sounds like it. Try a different router.

Anyone running P2P? If yes, that's likely the main (and common) cause, that your router is unable to handle the traffic and stall within hours. If you aren't sure if anyone runs P2P, then you better find out first.
And what do you mean by reset? Do you actually mean power cycle (off then on) rather?
If your Linksys router cannot be flashed 3rd party firmware, then you'll have to change it if you wish to allow P2P.

Any router to recommend?
I on starhub MOL Premium.
Prefer to have router that have:
- cable and wireless
- 802.11 a/g/b cos mostly my wireless devices are old
- able to handle large traffic load such as online gaming, video streaming, p2p
- simple to setup
Thanks.

Go for Dlink-655 or 855.

After resetting, did you set the wireless password to prevent unauthorised access?
Anyway, next time try power cycling (off then on) instead, rather than such a drastic move of resetting. It'll help isolate the problem better, particularly if P2P is the cause of the router stalling.
Again, you need to confirm if anyone or more PCs are running P2P. Last time, if it was only 1 and low traffic, router might still be able to take it.
