Dear everyone
I wonder if you are in the same shoes as me.
On the 12th march I sign up for a SNBB 8 mbps for $55 which includes a lenovo S10 ideapad.
In the contract it states clearly that I can redeem it from Morris within 7 days after activation. My singnet was activated on 30th march.
I then receive a letter on 7th april that I can only redeem the idea pad on the 27th April onwards. But isnt that almost 1 month after activation?
I been trying to connect Singnet, Morris and even lenovo but as usual I have been kicked like a ball around with excuses "it their fault.. etc". The usual game....
Having read the TERMS and CONDITIONS which I have sign with Singnet, it clearly states I could redeem it 7 working days after activation or 6th April or later... Isnt this a clear indication that they are not following their own terms and condition?
It is like signing up for something which you don get 100% and get charged for it. If the table had turn around and we be late in paying our bills, arent they the one who issue we pay a penalty for late payments?
They have offered to waive off the monthly charge until I get my laptop but i seriously doubt the Customer care team would have taken note of this and even if I do collect mine end of the month, i still be billed as usual.
Sometimes big companies should have better plan in honouring what they have promoted on newspapers. Not another delicious deal to get sales and then forgo their very own terms and conditions printed by themselves.
For those who share the same fate, please share and lets talk!
Steve
