l4d lag???

i'm on MOL and sometimes it lags till 600++ ping when i host
so i join other servers and i find that no matter what servers i join, the lag is the same and i'm not the only 1 lagging, everybody lags together...

if MOL is the cause of the lag, then i should be the only 1 lagging right?
just wanna check with you guys if ppl on singnet with high end computers (quad core and above) who host games are able to get decent pings at night...

l4d is a very cpu intensive game, if you are on dual core and host most probably if you lag, it is becos of your computer... btw, othertimes when i host the game doesn't lag at all... so i don't believe it is becos of my computer specs

on my starhub link, i notice a lot of latency spike lately. maybe you should download winmtr and run continuous latency test between u and your gaming servers and see if the lag spike occurs when you lag. i've noticed spikes up to 1-4s at times.

i play using garena
yesterday was the worst... when i hosted the lag hit 1k+ on bigger maps so i gave up and joined a singnet host
the singnet host was worst... not only pings hit 1k+, there was always int. lag as well...
after that i decided to give up... lost mood already...
