lag? it's just about 3sec lag refering to receiving over-the-air.

nope, it wont be chopy - it's supposed to be smooth like over-the-air.

Provided you're not doing some heavy torrent download which will cause some choppiness, else all is fine...

OT a bit..

On 8mb MioPlan, not doing any BT but downloading via a DM, I experience intermittent choppiness, visual and/or audio. Complained to the Helpdesk and they sending tech support to check tomorrow..

Anyone facing the same issue?

Sorry for later reply...

I'm on the 3mb plan and didn't experience any of the above.

BTW, has anyone been able to access the mioTV My Recorded TV page? Seems that it has been down for system maintenance for weeks???

Strange that nothing is being mentioned on the mioTV main page?

Hi,

Not sure if this has been discussed before. I am on Mio Home 3 mbps. Mio TV box is connected to 2wire modem using a pair of Powerline HomePlugs. Note that the HomePlug at the modem end is NOT directly connected to the wall socket (the HomePlug at the Mio TV box is). I haven't test extensively, but HD channels are almost unwatchable (too choppy). Any advice/solutions?

Your homeplugs setup is ok, but if the data transfer rate of your homeplugs can support up to 200Mbps, you will not have the lag issue.

yup, have the same issue too. Nothing wrong with your sound system. It is due to the source, similar to picture quality too. If the source is good, you will have both good picture & sound quality. If the source is bad, you will have either lousy picture or sound quality or both :)

connect directly from your modem to the miotv box just to try
when i using homeplug and switch on my fan, the hd channel will also become crap
when i off the fan, hd play fine
=> power line too much interference
