IE or Firefox freequently not able to connect

Hi all, i face a problem. i use signet 8MB, 2701HGV-E modem. My yahoo, MSN, Skype are no problem connected at all time. But when I launch IE or Firefox, very often it unable to be connected to internet. I always have to run the singnet smartfix and with good luck, I'll be able to connect to websites. This is very irritating. My IE and Firefox are default setting without changes.

May I know, anyone has any idea what's wrong and how to fix it?

Could be firewall and anti-virus software related issue...Temporary disable them and try it.

likely virus..... scan your computer

Most Probably malware or Virus attach. Some time the firewall also blocked it. kindly check your firewall settings.
