View Full Version : Have anyone got this problem with new broadband (singnet) before?

Sorry for the thread's tittle, I wanted to make a more informative tittle, however I can't find a way to describe this problem in one line.

I just set up a new broadband connection with Singnet (10MB). This morning the technician came to my house check the phone line and set up a 2WIRE 2701 HGV-E modem, told me the internet will be ready by 5 PM. At that time, I *THINK* the broadband LED went solid already (didn't pay much attention so I'm not sure if that's true or my memory plays trick with me), the Internet line blinking a bit, however, I came out of my house for a few hours and when I came back, the Broadband LED keep blinking until now. When I checked the modem configuration page, it said "No Physical Link signal".

At first I thought it was the phone line, I took a phone and connected it, the phone was working well so it probably not the line problem? Then I tried changing router, with a different, working router on another account, the broadband was light still blinking; Tried using the filters come together with router, didn't help also.

I already called Singnet technical helpdesk and got an appointment this Saturday, but I wonder if anyone got that problem before and know how to fix it.
