Hi all, recently these few days I've been experiencing issues with the connectivity when using wireless@sg in libraries. I keep getting disconnected frequently and need to log in constantly, hence was wondering if anyone experienced the same problem or is it only me. Could a virus be the source of this problem? I tried running my anti-virus but the scan came out ok. :s11:

i only experienced such problems with Icell network.

Gmax network non-connect problem can be solved by simply signing up an GMAx account. tried logging in with singtel acc but cannot go through. must use GMAX acc for gmax connection.

so guess icell also did this and signed up for icell acc. And can connect liao. but problem is always disconnect after a period of inactivitiy. ~ disconnects after a few minute of inactivity.

expeienced such problems when there are more than 1 Wireless@SG SSIDs detected.

"Wireless@SG"
"Wireless@SG " and another one with 3 spaces behind the ssid.

recently i discovered another wireless@sg ssid with 4 spaces

they add more space behind perhaps due to more access points overlapping?

is there a possibility that someone may use this ssid with extra spaces for plishing purpose?

They're powered by enterprise grade AP tho, spaces or not
Besides, having no space is more easier to intercept traffic
