Hi,
I'm using hubstation (build in modem) now with free 1MB broadband,
i have another cable modem free from starhub to use as voice model for home free telephone.
As i konw starhub broadband is stick to MAC address on every individual cable modem,
anyone can tell is it possible to switch the hubstation broadband MAC address to the voice cable modem MAC address? So that i only need to power on only on the voice cable modem if during online, can off the hubstation power to save electricity.
Thanks.

Nope. That is not possible.
The free modem has a firmware that is fixed to the pay per use. However, if you subscribe to higher broadband plan, they can pin the mac address to that modem.
however, i do find the 1MB so so and serves most of my needs. so not complaining.
The problem is, i usually keep my hubstation on standby, everything I turn off i am afraid the HDD will stop.. that's me.

It is not possible, the Hubstation is a different beast on its own and the complimentary 1mbps broadband cannot be transferred to another modem. The only thing you can do is to put the hubstation on standby as that would probably reduce some power usage while still allowing you to surf the web.
If you however have the paid Maxonline Surflite (2mbps) plan or above, you can have them assign that to your digital voice modem.
