Problem with Huawei E156G modem

Hi all,
Just signed a 2mb plan with Starhub and was given E156G modem. A strange thing kept happening. After surfing the net for a whiile abt 5 mins, suddenly not able to surf the net @ all. It will take abt 1 to 2mins for it to recover and then able to surf the net again. This fault kept happening again n again. Any advise on this ?

Have you tried it with another 3G modem or phone with 3G built in.

Does it still give the same problem ?

If you tried it on another equipment and yet problem still persist, it is likely an issue with your ISP not having sufficient broadband bandwidth in your area.

If the problem does not persist on another equipment, then must be your hardware issue. RMA your modem or sent it to the service centre.
