My mio modem is currently located at 2nd floor of my house.. i shifted my desktop to the 1st floor, using a wireless adapter trying to connect to the modem. i can't connect to it. tried alot of times. the connection can be found but everytime i connect it. it will appear : acquiring network address.. for dam long. I tried shifting my modem to the 1st floor. but i couldnt connect to it. Is it bcos of the phone plug?

Double-check if you have entered the correct key. An incorrect key can get you stuck there.

If you are using mio, voice/TV you cannot change the modem.
2solution for you.
Buy a router to bridge to your mio modem, preferly a N router.
Recommandations - DIR 615 or DIR 655 (most people tried this and works)
2nd solution
Buy a home plug from Aztech (avaliable @ challenger, or other IT stores)

Reset does not mean a power cycle. It means restoring the whole thing to factory defaults.

sorry.. how to reset?
MrJacky

Press the reset button at the back of your modem until the modem restarts.
If the all of the settings are reset back to normal then it means you successfully did a factory reset.
However if it only reboots the modem like what it did to me then you have to reset through the MDC.
