Hi all,

Need help on the above. I am currently changing my faulty router. Narrow down to the 2 model above.

Any bro got any comments or experience to share? My priority is coverage then throughput.

TIA!

If coverage is more important, then the lower cost , but 11g WHR-HP-G54 can be really good at that.

I have that. Router in centre of house. But there are still blind spots around. Thus trying to see if N draft router can help to solve this issue.

You have the WHR-HP-G54? You can consider flashing it to Tomato and use it to increase the beaming output.

i only have the WHR-HP-G54, it's located at the far end room of the exec flat, the signals are still either good or very good at my other rooms away from that router. In the same aspect, it performed better than my old Dlink DGL-4300. Just my 2c.

Skip Buffalo, their firmware support is really weak. they only have good support within Japan.

whr-hp-g54 is the best G router i have ever use, i think if u compare G300NH and dir-655, i advise you to go for dir 655 as i'm currently using..
