This is my Handphone bill from last week. I am using Flexi plan which gives me 1GB free.

Singtel also stated that i would have 1st month free, but later on fine print stated it was for some other services. I blamed myself on this part

erm.. here are some of it i calculated, please correct me if i am wrong.

BroadBand Mobile Data Usage: 1,059,328 which is 5,296.64
Free 500MB Mobile Data Usage: 500,000 is 1,792.00

Here is my calculation:

if 1,059,328KB = s$5,296.64
then 500,000KB = 500000/1059328 * 5296.64 = s$2499.9999994*

This does not tally with the "Free 500mb Mobile Data Usage Plan.

Can anyone help me understand this?

next 524mb - 1878.02
So should pay 1626.62...

but additional mobile data disvount 1057.30
so 569.32 so it seems ok
Then got excess usage discount minus 219.32.. so 350 (Just for mobile internet omg!)

In theory, because ur first month is prorated, the free bundled usage should have been less than 1GB even. Although they gave it wholly to u.

but when i use the 1,059,328KB rate to calculate
rate of 1KB should be $0.005/KB approximately
so it should be 2500 instead of 1792

1MB = 0.003584
1,059,328MB = 3796.631552

but they said my 1,059,328MB is $5,296.64

one thing abt the data access is they bill by per session, worst part is u dun get to see the break down of the usage, unless u subscribe to detail billing or mybill (paperless bill)

So to say i cannot do the calculation which i just did? or is there any way to calculate their rate.. cause i feel that their discount is not very correct.

cause so to say 1,059,328 kb means i got excess 59,328
then i should be charged 59,328/2 * 0.0037 = 109.7568

by right if they say "1st month free", you shouldn't be paying any data charges at all
If other downloads, like ringtones, games, etc, is charged under another row.

maybe something wrong with they calculating system.. they divde it by 1000 not 1024 which is the correct way..

You divide by 1000 when it's kB, you only divide by 1024 when it's kiB.
