The miio box is place in my sister room. And my room is 1 living room away with 2 walls inbetween.
If im connected to the wireless, i cant really play games, i keep getting disconnection but surfing webs is fine. Is there anything i can do so that i can enjoy games in my room?

Common sense is to put the modem in a central location so both PCs can get a good wireless signal strength.

Bro, take a hammer and brake MIO box in 2 pieces, It is a piece of **** but everyone have to live with it (it was joke, don't do it :s22:).
As other mentioned in other threads buy a good wireless router/switch and connect to MIO box as bridge.

You can do one of the following to remedy the situation:
- Get a D-Link or Linksys router and connect it to the PC, in turn this is used to boost the Mio device's signal strength. (I'm using DIR-655 from D-link, DIR 855 is the latest version)
- Get a 10-20 metres cable to connect yourself to the Mio device, as wired connections are more stable for gaming purposes.
The 1st method is slightly pricey at $165, but setup should take you no more than 20minutes and you are free to roam around the house for gaming; the latter (considering you would want to tidy up the cabling) will be cheaper compared to the former but you will be tied to one point while gaming.
Take your pick :D

If you already did that then say, don't expect people to read your mind.

1) The router won't boost the 2WIRE modem's wireless strength. And that is irrelevant since you are going to connect to the router and not the 2WIRE.
2) Why would you need $165? You can always get a Wireless-G router at a cheap price.
3) You forget to mention Powerline adapters which make use of the existing power lines to provide an Ethernet connection.

The best solution will be pulling LAN cable from your modem to your PC, of course this will need some renovation work to be done with putting holes through walls etc.
As mentioned by Jacky, a more economical solution will be the wireless adapter using powerline. Call SingTel, they selling this @ $5/mth for 12 mths. With this, you can put one end connect to the router, and the other end connect to your PC. The downside of this is it depend on your powerline. If they are old, your signal may not be good. Nonetheless this should be better than your current solution.
