Just something to share with those on ADSL broadband; some may already know about this.
Your wireless router gateway gets rather hot after sometime and this will likely cause instability problem and result in disconnection. When your router is new; heat is not an issue as components are still new, but once it has burned in and has been in use for quite sometime problem will start to arise. For those who are disconnecting like mad try cooling it down with a fan and see if problem goes away if not that its probably spoiled due to overheating like my old WAG200G. Wireless B isn't so hot, but wireless G is real hot so I can't imagine wireless N and other higher power models. My new WAG54G2 is hot enough to heat my table and I can smell the hot air emanating from my modem so can you imagine the amount of heat generated. I installed a fan to it and now it is just slightly warm and not hot. Just my 2 cents.
