Anyone can advice, which is the cheapest RJ45 NAS in the market. (single bay NAS).

Network Nas you referring to?
No restriction to harddisk size?
Need Harddisk in it ?
Gigabit or Ethernet?

Had a WD MyBook World single bay. The hardisk emitted a soft high pitch noise, probably bearings, and overheated. RMA, then the box itself got very hot. There's no fan inside. Unless you have an air-con room, make sure the box has a fan. Removed the hardisk and now using a cheap $79 NAS box from SLS 6th flr. No name, china made, not Gigabit, but has aluminium casing, can dissipate heat better, big quiet fan.

well, its cheap - that's what he is looking for. hahas..
i had 1 before - nothing of e issue above just that the gigabit connection is super slow. has been verified by WD as well. they stated that 4mb/s is e max speed for their gigabit connection.. was pissed. I sold it off.

although i like WD Harddisk... but i also have some issue with the world book... it will hang every alt day if plug to my Gigabit switch... it will work fine with 100mbps switch...:o so far so good... 2 year already.... up and runing... FYI, i am using 1TB with raid 1... 2 bay one...
