I've tried using skype with M1BB a few weeks ago, and it happened to be a day where the connection was good and stable. Slightly lossy and jerky video, but voice is fine. Other end was my home computer on Starhub free 1Mbps (Hubstation). Happy choosing.

I never tried skype but used both MSN and Yahoo messenger for VOIP. When connections are stable, quality is good. During peak hours, connections can be so bad that either the lag is unbearable or frequent dropping of calls.

hmm.. not sure bout BBOM but i used the starhub free 1mbps to make msn calls. quality is AAA.

For my area, MSN Video Calls work fine even during peak night hours =) only occasional video lags but for voice, excellent quality.. :D
