Not just last night it has been like this for almost one and a half months. Loading of websites has been very very slow. This only thing I can think of is that 8Mbps plan is no longer available and is now 6Mbps so that may explain the sluggishness.

there are more factors than just the ISP's side that could cause such a problem... better look into that before calling them to yell at them :look:

U guys using the 2wire modem+wireless as well? I just switch off and on my modem and the speed gets better some how. But while during the period where i noticed sluggish speed, there were some cable upgrading around my estate. I live in the east area

No point yelling at the technical service officers as I can tell you there is nothing they can do if company direction dictates that they operates that way. I wanted to call them to ask why certain site need proxy certain site dun but on second though I didn't as I know I would get crappy answer which will point to my comp and setting problem which I know 100% is not. So I just enable and disable proxy as and when needed.

Last night I have issues with Singnet too. All of a sudden, I can't access any websites. I had to disconnect and reconnect a few times.
I also got disconnected one or twice too.

on 10mbps plan and i have to agree that the entire service and lines are like going kuku like that.
somedays its ok, some days its really sluggish.
play bf2 and connecting to taiwan server and ping drops and raise on different days, but definetly not as great as about before the IT show. somehow or rather, was there an oversubscribe during the last IT show. I do know singtel has tons of unuse and additional bandwidth. Im wondering whether they are trying to squeeze the exisitng bandwidth before they release those from their 'hidden cache'.

Singnet promotion too good, too many new users and thus causing bottleneck?
