Nope. use either one.
To increase wireless range, add another high powered antenna. Or move your AP around to find a good spot. But before you try any of these. play on your wireless channel first. That could solve your problems.

Of course can add as many APs as you like to increase the wireless coverage.

I just brought at Buffalo WCR-G54 which the saleman told me it's a Wireless Router / Wireless Access Point.
Am I right to say........
Before
NetGear Wireless Router >-------> Across one wall >---------> Computer (Weak)
After
NetGear Wireless Router >------> Signal send to Buffalo Access Point at the walkway along the wall>------> Signal GOOD to Computer.
Is it possible ? Do AP work this way ?
So it's...
Phone > Modem > RJ45 > Wireless Router ~>~>~ Wireless Access Point ~>~>~ Computer

I think you are setting up a WDS rather than an AP.

Not sure WCR-G54 can do a WDS or not. For AP to work, it has to be wiredly connected to its router, your case is the netgear. Also bear i mind that WDS will half your bandwidth.

I currently have an IP camera located in a blind spot. I'll like to ask if it's possible to attach the IP camera to a wireless access point using LAN cable, and have my linksys ADSL2+ gateway link up wirelessly to the AP? Are there any better, more feasible way to connect the camera? Homeplug will be kind of difficult for me as my power points are close to been overload.
