View Full Version : 10mbps...gotta be kidding right?

Hi guys, I've been using Singnet 10mbps mIO for the past 2 years without any problems, but 2 weeks ago, my 2700 router broke down and I called the tech support and they came over to change my router to the new mIO Box 2701HGV-E, ever since then I've been encountering slower speeds than usual and today I finally went to test my speed over at Speedtest and guess what I got:

Latency: 36ms
Download: 0.87mb/sec
Upload: 0.83mb/sec

I guess the Latency and Upload speeds are fine, but the Download speed result really gave me a rude shock...no wonder all my downloads are slow as hell...downloading videos from Gametrailers crawled at 10kb/sec while previously I could hit at least 200-300kb/sec...

Can any kind folks out there tell me what's wrong?

Recently SNBB is kinda... slow.

Try disconnecting and reconnecting.

Hi there, I've already tried that, also tried resetting the router, but still the same...I understand if sometimes it's slow, but 0.8mbps for download speed is kind of a joke don't you think? :s11:

Yeah . Not very stable recently . Using MIO too .

Here's a screen of my advanced settings, am I supposed to change anything? What about changing the connection type to PPPoA?

I'm using wired, and I'm not sure why the speeds are so slow...
